Y’all … I’m just going to go ahead and say, I’m on a fall roll! 😀 This is my second fall product this month and I’m almost finished with the 3rd! And you’re going to love it!!! Anyway … I told you I wanted to learn how to create digital products and now I know. This Fall Number Sequencing Digital Activity using Google Slides is great for engaging kindergarten and first grade learners working on sequencing numbers 0-10.
Fall Number Sequencing Digital Activity 0-10 for Google Slides
The great thing about this fall number sequencing digital activity is that it can be used for remote learning or in the classroom face to face. Because it’s interactive, the students drag the pumpkins to the top of the fence in order to sequence them. If appropriate, they record their answers on a response sheet and then self-check using the answer key.
I also created a follow up worksheet to see if they understand the concept they are working on with the digital activity. I always like to see if the concepts carry over from one format to the next, because sometimes they do not. I had a student once, when I asked him to point to the title of a book on the computer, he could not. (looking at the picture of the book) So we practiced every week on my Promethean board for 9 weeks and he would get it correct. I was confident he would he do well on the next assessment. But once again, on the computer, he could not point to the title. He could not take the information he’d learned and generalize it the computer. So we need to make sure that what we teach carries from one format to the next.
I also created an additional cut and paste worksheet to assess the concept of sequencing. I created it with 2 formats. One format without numbers as a “hint” so that it’s more difficult and can be used for more advanced students.
