FREE Christmas shapes tree craft project to practice those shapes your students have learned or just as a fun Christmas craft and writing project. Christmas Shapes Tree Craft and Writing Project
Use this Christmas Shapes Tree Craft and Writing Project to practice those shapes your students have learned or just as a fun Christmas craft and writing project. Simple instructions are on the individual pages for printing the craft project. Print on construction or colored paper, cut out and glue onto another piece of paper. Or if you prefer, you can print on white and have students color. (Pages are formatted for classroom printing) Students cut out the 3 triangles, layer them largest to smallest going up to form tree, then glue them down with the smallest triangle on top.
Students will need colored paper and a hole punch to create circles for tree ornaments. Other options are tiny pom poms, confetti, stickers, etc. The presents under the tree can be any color and decorated however the student chooses. You may also choose to provide yarn or tiny ribbon to give presents a 3D effect.
Older students can complete the writing project “All I Want for Christmas …” while younger students can simply draw a picture of what they’d like to see under the Christmas tree. These can be displayed along with the craft projects in a hallway or on a bulletin board.
This is a great Center or Station activity!
