Apple’licious Creating Sets 0 – 20
Creating sets 0 – 20 using apples and ten frames … perfect for your apple unit, apple research or Johnny Appleseed’s birthday celebration!
Print ten frames and number cards on cardstock, laminate and cut out. Students use apple counters/erasers, round discs, buttons, apple seeds, beads, pennies, etc. to create sets 0 – 20. There are 3 follow up activity sheets for students to create sets 2 -5, 6 – 10 and student’s choice of two numbers 11-20 using their fingerprints to create apples. *****Counters/discs not included. Shown as example only. ******
Students will enjoy using these activities to practice their skills creating sets 0 – 20 versus doing regular pencil and paper activities. These activities will give them the opportunities to have some “wiggle room” as they work on their skills and they’ll have fun while they work! Perfect for using in Centers/Work Stations, small groups, pairs and independent work. Follow up sheets can be used as independent work or to assess student knowledge.
